Tenebrae: Reproaches review

Beautiful job at Vespers last Friday!  I think that we have a solid foundation for Tenebrae and we are off to a good start.  Check out the previous post for the intro on what we will be doing on Good Friday.  Here is what was introduced this past Friday – an audio of the melody follows each section of chant – see if you can sing along:

holyisGod

hagios2

holyandimmortal

mypeople

This is the most challenging part that we will encounter, so I wanted to introduce it first.  We have a lot to cover next week, but I’m sure it wont be too difficult to handle.   Don’t forget to check out the Magnificat Pronunciation post if you want some extra help with singing Our Lady’s Canticle in Latin.

Have a great week!
